About Me

I am a freelance multimedia travel journalist for broadcast, digital, and print outlets.  Based in San Antonio, Texas, I am an on-camera talent as an expert, host, and reporter on travel, food, pet-friendly travel, safe and fun road trips, and outdoor fun.  I film, report, produce, host, write, and photograph live and taped segments, features, and articles.  I am a content creator, blogger, speaker, moderator, and panelist with a focus on travel and the outdoors.

As a travel journalist, I create travel and outdoor adventure segments for broadcast outlets including the nationally syndicated show “The List,” and multiple local television lifestyle shows on NBC, ABC, CBS CW, and Fox affiliates in the top 50 TV markets including Tampa and Denver.  I have written and photographed for outlets including A Girls Guide To Cars, Prime Women, and Microsoft Start. My specialties are unique and pet-friendly outdoor adventure, empty nest travel, adventurous road trips, weekend road trips, luxury travel, and exploring the most beautiful places in the United States.

As a traveler, I’ve Road Tripped the lower 48 United States and I’ve visited Canada and Mexico. I have road-tripped to 12 NASCAR tracks, driven on 2 of them, and adventured to over 40 National and State Park Service sites including 12 National Parks. 

My adventure bio includes Road Tripping to 34 states in 30 days, hiking Glacier Park and Yellowstone National Park, exploring Mammoth Cave, Natural Bridge Caverns, Lost Cave, and Marvel Cave, and fly-fishing on Little Bighorn River. I have zip-lined, kayaked, and explored many locations in Texas, and white water-rafted in Montana. Visiting waterfalls is one of my favorite things to do and I have seen them in almost every state I have been to. I have been to 7 of the 10 wonders of America, though I feel everything you see is an amazing wonder. Some of the wonders I have seen are the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, the Grand Canyon in Arizona, Yellowstone in Wyoming, and Niagara Falls in New York.

I review the newest and greatest vehicles coming out of the automotive industry and share my experiences with them while road-tripping locally and around the country. I’ve worked with Jeep, Ford, Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, GMC, Chevy, Dodge, Ram, Mercedes, and more.

I bring the girl next door approach to my TV appearances, and I am the trusted source of information for millions of viewers and readers around the world. From travel to adventure and food to libations, I don’t hold back, I share it all. Come ride with me and see the country, and get out there and explore.
